Civil cases, disputes and suits are heard in the courts (civil departments) and are governed by the Civil Code, which is a branch of private law and contains a set of legal rules governing the relations and conduct of individuals among themselves, such as sale, purchase, rent, obligation, possession, freedom from exposure, contracts, property and intercession.
